Meet Cafe Schöne Aussicht, located in the Mosel region of Germany, surrounded by rolling vineyards and close to some of the area’s most distinctive winemakers. The café sits within a setting rich in atmosphere, offering wide views and a strong connection to the landscape and its winemaking heritage.
For this project, we combined carefully selected photography and cinematic videography to reflect both the architectural character of the café and its unique surroundings. From aerial perspectives that reveal its position within the vineyards to detailed interior and exterior shots, every frame was created to capture the feeling of place and authenticity.
By blending wide-angle compositions with detail-focused imagery and cinematic motion, we emphasized both the depth of history and the inviting, social atmosphere of the café. The result is a visual story that highlights the client’s vision while showcasing the charm and identity of the location.

It All Begins Here
For this project, a mixed-media video approach was used to showcase the café from two distinct creative perspectives. Two separate videos were produced: a calm walkthrough film and a more cinematic, detail-driven visual piece, each designed to highlight different aspects of the location and its potential use.
The walkthrough video focuses on presenting the café in a cohesive and relaxed environment, guiding viewers through the space in a natural flow. Its purpose is to communicate the atmosphere and target audience experience, showing how the location functions as a welcoming and comfortable social space.
In contrast, the cinematic detail video takes a more stylized and expressive approach. It focuses on close-up textures, design highlights, and atmospheric moments, offering a more artistic interpretation of the café. This version was created to appeal to a different audience segment, emphasizing visual identity, mood, and detail over the full spatial journey.
Together, both videos demonstrate the versatility of the space and how different storytelling approaches can be used for distinct commercial and creative purposes.
Interior Photography
In this interior photography series, a strong sense of style was shaped through the use of deep, rich tones, carefully chosen to highlight the beautifully crafted wooden elements throughout the space. The goal was to enhance the sophisticated rustic atmosphere and translate it authentically through the lens, while staying true to the café’s natural character.
A deliberate combination of wide-angle lenses and tighter detail-focused compositions allowed the space to be experienced in full. The wider frames establish the overall architecture and flow of the interior, while the close-up shots draw attention to textures, craftsmanship, and the subtle imperfections that give the place its identity.
Special attention was given to natural light and its direction throughout the day. This light was used not only to emphasize warmth and community within the space, but also to sculpt depth, highlight material contrast, and bring out the richness of the woodwork and surfaces.
Through thoughtful composition, controlled perspective, and a balance between ambient and detail imagery, the photography reveals both the structure and soul of the café—capturing its connection to the surrounding vineyards and its timeless, welcoming atmosphere.
